FBT WDM, also known as Fused Biconic Taper WDM and FBT WDM Splitter, along with LAN WDM Splitter, Filter WDM Splitter, Dense Wdm Splitter and Coarse Wdm Splitter, are the most commonly used Wdm Device in construction of PON.
1x2 FBT WDM device is based on the fused biconical taper technology, which can make two optical fiber become fused biconical taper under high temperature, then after packaging it can add or drop the different optical wavelength signal.
