What are the core components of the WDM system?

The core component of the WDM system is the Wdm Device , and its characteristics determine the performance of the entire system to a large extent. WDM devices are devices that combine and separate optical wavelengths. The combination is called a multiplexer, and the separation is called a splitter. There are two most commonly used devices, namely Optical Fiber fusion taper WDM devices and thin film Filter WDM devices.
