Q: How to use OLT, the effect of OLT ?
A: OLT refers to the optical line terminal ( optical line terminal equipment ), which is used to connect the intelligent terminal of the Optical Fiber line.
OLT equipment is the key central office equipment, which can be connected to the front-end development ( aggregation layer ) network switch with a netwok calbel, converted into optical signals, and interconnected with the client Optical Splitter with a single optical fiber line: complete the central office eqipment ONU operation and management methods, laser ranging , and like ONU machinery and equipment , it is an optical integrated machinery and equipment .
Effect:
1) push ethernet interface data information to ONU by broadcasting program method ;
2) Carry out and control the whole process of laser ranging , and record the content of laser ranging informaiton ;
3) Allocate network bandwidth for ONU ; that is manipulate the start and end time of the ONU to transmit data and the size of the sending window.
E8604T-ATG is designed for chassis Olt Device which provides 4/8 downlink 1000M PON ports, 8 uplink GE ports ,4 uplink 10GE ports by GL-COM. The height is only 1U for easy installation and space saving. Each PON supports up to 64 terminals, the whole device supports up to 256/512 ONUs under full configuration. E8604T/08T-ATG adopts advanced technology to support SLA and DBA to keep strong function on the Ethernet and QoS features.
