The main functions OLT implemented:

1.Connect the upper layer network to complete the upstream access of the PON (Passive Optical Network, Passive Optical Network) network. 2.Through the ODN network (composed of Optical Fiber and passive Optical Splitter), it is connected to the ONU of the user end equipment. Realize the functions of control, management and ranging of the ONU of the user end equipment.

Product overview

GL-G8608T is designed for chassis Olt Device which provides 8 downlink 1000M PON ports, 8 uplink GE Combo ports2 uplink 10GE port  by GL-COM. The height is only 1U for easy installation and space saving. Each PON supports up to 128 terminals, the whole device supports up to 1024ONUs under full configuration. G8608T adopts advanced technology to support SLA and DBA to keep strong function on the Ethernet and QoS features. It is applied for commercial and grid network digital management to provide perfect, smart, strong, advanced, professional solutions for automatic distributionand electricity information collectionin the implemented project for the national grid.
