POE Switch has several
Poe Power ports. The main function is to supply power and transmit data. The PON-PoE switch has several PON ports, that is, both PoE ports and PON ports.

Poe Port can be connected to various network devices that need to be powered through network cables, such as network cameras, wireless APs, intercom doorbells, and Internet telephony, etc. The
Power Supply to these devices is via the network cable, eliminating troublesome power supply construction and wiring, and making the project changeable. It is simple and flexible.

Pon Port is used in the PON network, which means that the PON-PoE switch can be applied to the PON network at the same time. As the access layer device, the PON-PoE switch transmits data over the optical network.
In general, in some remote monitoring or large-scale monitoring projects, the use of PON-PoE switches can not only remove the power wiring, but also enjoy the long-distance transmission advantages of optical networks. It has advantages over pure PoE switches or simple ONUs (access devices in PON networks).
